1. 2009-07-21CPU-z passe en version 1.52 !

Le très célèbre CPU-z passe en version 1.52 et apporte son lot de nouveautés :

• New design with "Graphics" tab.
• New 64-bit version.
• NVIDIA nForce 980a chipset support.
• Intel Core i5 and Core i3 processors.
• Intel Atom Z530, Pentium DC E6300 (2.8GHz) and Core 2 Solo processors.

La nouveauté principale est l'apparition d'un nouvel onglet "Graphics" donnant accès à des informations sur votre carte graphique.
Inutile de vous dire que cette nouvelle version est à télécharger urgemment :)

2. 2009-01-09[OCX] Grosse mise à jour section download !

Gotcha, membre de l'équipe d'OvercCleX et modérateur sur le forum vient de mettre à jour l'ensemble de la section "download" sur le forum. Il s'agit d'un travail titanesque puisqu'il a réorganisé chaque soft en spécifiant :

• un mot d'information sur le soft
• un screenshot
• un mot sur la dernière mise à jour
• une rubrique trucs et astuces pour le soft

3. 2008-09-02RivaTuner passe en version 2.10

  Le Logiciel d'overclocking pour carte graphique RivaTuner passe en version 2.10 . Il corrige certains bugs rencontrés dans la version 2.09 mais apporte surtout le support des nombreuses cartes graphique NVIDIA / ATI sorties récemment.

• Added Catalyst 8.5, 8.6, 8.7 and 8.8 drivers detection. 
• Updated Catalyst 8.5, 8.6, 8.7 and 8.8 certified SoftR9x00 patch script (for Windows 2000/XP drivers only).
• Improved NVIDIA GT200 graphics  processors family support. Thanks to Jacob Freeman @ EVGA for providing NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 display adapter sample for testing.
• Added AMD RV770 graphics processors family support. Now almost all RivaTuner's features including overclocking, low-level fan control and hardware monitoring are fully available on AMD RADEON HD 48x0 series display adapters. Thanks to Hilbert Hagedoorn @ The Guru of 3D for providing AMD RADEON HD 4850 display adapter sample for testing. Please take a note that currently RivaTuner doesn't support direct access to generic I2C bus and flashrom on RV770 GPUs, so generic I2C bus access based features (e.g. RADEON HD 4870 X2 fan control and monitoring) and VGA BIOS image dumping features are currently not available. 
• Improved set of technologies aimed to improve RivaTuner startup and usage safety in conjunction with other hardware monitoring and diagnostics related tools:
• Previously used low-level I2C synchronization protocol is now also applied to driver-level fan control calls to prevent possible conflicts between low-level I2C transactions and internal driver-level I2C transactions. Please take a note that to take full effect the protocol must be supported by other tools used simultaneously with RivaTuner, so please ensure that you're using this version of RivaTuner with the latest versions of other monitoring or diagnostics related software products (e.g. Everest or EVGA Precision).
• Updated bundled RivaTunerStatisticsServer v2.8.0 utility:
• New server uses improved hook notification system and more aggressive hooks unload routines aimed to minimize the situations which require system reboot during server uninstallation.
• Added new OSD rendering mode. Optional configurable OSD background improves OSD text readability in some applications and prevents it from merging with solid color screen. Please take a note that new mode doubles performance hit caused by OSD rendering so it is recommended to use in only when needed via the server's application profiles.
• Updated pseudo-3D applications list.
• Updated exceptions list for bundled D3DOverrider utility.
• Improved hardware monitoring module:
• Now hardware monitoring plugin activation wizard module enables ADT7473 plugin by default on GeForce GTX 260 / 280 series display adapters.
• Improved memory clock gating detection for GeForce GTX 260 / 280 series display adapters.
• Improved VT1103.dll plugin:
• Added support for voltage regulator output and average current monitoring on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 / 280 series. Please take a note that Volterra voltage regulators are rather sensitive to frequent polling and may return false data under heavy load, so it is not recommended to use VRM monitoring in daily monitoring sessions.
• Added support for serial VID encoding mode for VT1165 voltage regulators to provide proper voltage regulator output monitoring on AMD RADEON HD 4870 and GeForce GTX 260 / 280 series display adapters.
• The plugin no longer uses hardware database to detect used VID encoding mode. Now the plugin directly reads hardwired VID encoding mode defined by configuration resistors. 
• Optimized average current monitoring implementation for VT1105/VT1165 voltage regulators. Now the plugin pre-calculates and pre-caches maximum output current instead of calculating it on each average current read request. 
• Updated license agreement. New license agreement explicitly restricts publishing any links to RivaTuner on www.nvnews.net homepage or in www.nvnews.net discussion forums.
• Minor UI changes and improvements.

Le logiciel préféré des overclockeurs passe en version 1.46 . Le système de validation n'acceptera désormais que les validations faites ave la dernière révision de cpuz.

Voici ce que cette nouvelle révision apporte :

• Processeurs AMD Black Edition.
• Intel Xeon EX "Dunnington".

Après une version v0.1.8 apportant déjà pas mal de modifications, le logiciel GPUZ passe en version v0.1.9 .

GPU-Z est un petit utilitaire créé par le site TechPowerUp vous permettant d accéder a toute les informations sur votre carte graphique et GPU.

* Fixed splash screen not going away in some cases
* Fixed crash when GPU registers couldn't be accessed (thanks tDJ)

7. 2008-02-11CPU-z passe à la version 1.44

Le très célèbre soft CPU-z vient de passer à la version 1.44
Au niveau des améliorations, on retrouve :

• Preliminary support for VIA Isaiah processor.
• Support for all VIA Model D processors: VIA C7-M, VIA C7-D, VIA Eden, VIA Eden.
• Memory timings on Intel 5400A/B MCH (Skulltrail).

GPU-Z revient avec une nouvelle révision : GPU-Z v0.1.6
La grande nouveauté est l'affichage des températures de la carte graphique.

9. 2007-10-11SetFSB 2.0.b.16h (beta) disponible

Abo vient de mettre à jour son très bon soft d'overclocking sous XP : SetFSB.
Il s'agit de la version 2.0.B.16h qui prend en compte certains modèles de cartes X38 comme la Gigabyte X38-DQ6 et la version X38T-DQ6.

10. 2007-10-09MemSet en version 3.4 beta1

Je viens d'ajouter dans la section "Download" de notre forum l'utilitaire Memset qui vient de passer en version 3.4 beta1.

Voici la liste des nouveautés :

• add support for Intel X38. (Same that P35 for timings, but perhaps some problemwith read DDR3 frequency, cause FSB and Dram strap was changed).
• Add support for AMD K10 DDR2.
• Replace Precharge to Precharge delay by Refresh period (tREF) timing in this version,(Same timing we find in Everest) on 965 and P35 chipsets.Contrary to other timings, higher value is better for performance
• Fix some bug with read memory frequency.
